Using mouse in BabaCAD

 

General recommendation for work with BabaCAD is to obtain a mouse with middle scroll (button) in order to use all possibilities of BabaCAD.

 

If user has a mouse with middle scroll (button), he will be able to work the following simple operations

• Moving over the drawing (PAN) by holding pressed middle button of mouse and move mouse at the same time
• Zooming view in and out /closer or further view) (ZOOM) by scrolling with the middle mouse button

 

Users who want to work with mouse only will like BabaCAD because it offers many useful commands in the pop-up menu, shown on the right mouse click.

·         If command line requires „Enter“ (for example when you enter precise x,y point coordinates) then instead of pressing the button <Enter>, you can choose option ENTER from the menu on right mouse click.

 

·         If you want to deselect the selected (marked) objects, then instead of pressing button <Esc> you can choose option ESC from the menu on right mouse click.

 

·         During the entrance of polyline (how to create a polyline), options in the menu on right mouse click contain the functions: Arc, Second point, Line, Close, and Exit, so you can easily change the type of polyline segment and draw a polyline in shortest time possible.

 

·         Whilst you still haven't run a command, BabaCAD offers you several quick commands on right mouse click, for example: Zoom, Pan, Delete, Deselect All (or ESC), Move, etc.

 

·         BabaCAD offers you repeating last command in the menu on right mouse click, making the drawing process much faster
