Creating blocks

In order to add a new block, you should have prepared all objects you want to place into it.

You can create a new block in the project on the following way:

A.     Click on the icon    in the Draw toolbar

      or

B.     Choose the menu option    Draw -> Create a Block

            or

C.     Type command BLOCK in command line and press <Enter>

then you have to select objects you want to include in the block by clicking all objects without holding Ctrl or Shift or Alt buttons.

When you finish objects selection, press <Enter>.

 

then you have to determine the base point for your block (relative position for placing block objects) by:
    clicking the place where the point should be
            or
    manually enter coordinates of the base point and press <Enter>

 

then you have to enter the name of your block (if there are more words enter the name within double quotation marks on both sides) and press <Enter>.

 

So, a new block is created. Now ayou can insert all objects within the block on several places, look here how.
