BabaCAD is a fast growing CAD software, developed from by scratch without any dependent engines and CAD platforms. It works with Fast OpenGL graphic rendering, fast selection and manipulation with vector objects. BabaCAD supports the following objects: point (3D), line (3D), polyline (2D,3D), circle, arc, ellipse, spline (2D,3D), vector text, work with blocks, work with hatches, work with images and even georeferenced TIFF raster images. BabaCAD supports SNAP-ing to end-point, mid-point, nearest point, perpendicular, parallel, and interesection point. OSNAP (Object Snap Tracking) makes drawing very simple.
BabaCAD supports work with basic types of vector files (DXF and DWG) and it's compatible with other CAD softwares woring with DWG and DXF files. DXF is the universal standard format for storing of data within BabaCAD. Support for other graphic formats is in progress.
Versioning
Each new version of BabaCAD contains functionalities of older versions so users don't have to worry about it during installation of a new BabaCAD version. BabaCAD versions are release with every bigger step in software progress. Download file size is around 2,5 MB. So far, seven BabaCAD releases have been published:

Hardware and software requirements for BabaCAD software
BabaCAD is not too demanding regarding hardware because it can work well even on computer with 512 MB of RAM (the recommended minimum for Windows XP) as well as on new computers.
So far, BabaCAD works on operating systems Windows XP, Windows VISTA, Windows 7,8,8.1 and Windows 10
